Rwanda National Handball lost their opening match of the 26th African Men’s Championship in Cairo, Egypt this Wednesday, It was their first-ever match for Rwanda in the Competition playing with the Vice-champion of the last edition.
The first half ended with the lead of Cape Verde with 24 to 13 of Rwanda, as the match ended with the win of Cape Verde with a score of 52 to 27.
Rwanda will play its second match with the Democratic Republic of Congo this Friday 19th January 2024, as Cape Verde will face Zambia.
