The Rwanda National Under-19 Handball Team defeated Burundi in a friendly match held in Rwanda this weekend.
In order to prepare for the the 2023 IHF Men’s Youth World Championship, which will be held in Croatia between 2 and 13 August, the team of Rwanda and Burundi played two friendly matches at the new handball stadium located in Nyamirambo
The first match took place on Saturday 01 April , and the Rwanda national team won 29 out of 28 goals against Burundi.
The second match was played on Sunday 02/04/2023, and ended with Rwanda defeating Burundi with 42 goals out of 37.
Rwanda’s U19 national team, Portugal, Croatia and Algeria have been drawn in Group A of the 10th IHF Men’s Youth (U19) World Championship that will take place in Croatia from August 2-13.
